Product information
Fantastic old American “DEAD END ROAD” traffic sign, manufactured from heavy steel with embossed detailing. A substantial vintage road sign with an exceptionally weathered surface and loads of authentic character.
The large DEAD END ROAD lettering is clearly visible, while the profiled construction gives the sign noticeable relief. Its heavy steel construction makes this a very different object from the lightweight aluminium road signs commonly encountered today.
One of the best features is its fantastic aged patina. The surface displays extensive weathering, scratches, discoloration, wear and other signs of age. Rather than detracting from the piece, these imperfections create exactly the rugged industrial appearance collectors appreciate in old American road signage.
At 76.5 x 61 cm, this is a substantial statement piece for a garage, mancave, workshop, bar, American diner, loft or collection of vintage American road memorabilia.
