Vintage Reflex Check Your Reactions Arcade Machine by Canon Electronics UK – 1980s

Unusual vintage Reflex – Check Your Reactions reaction-time arcade machine from the 1980s, manufactured by Canon Electronics in the United Kingdom.

This classic coin-operated skill game is all about reaction speed. After inserting a coin and operating the handle, the player must press the button as quickly as possible when the numbers appear on the display. The machine then measures the player's reaction and score, with categories ranging from “Lightning” and “Fast” to “Tortoise.”

This particular machine was adapted for the Dutch market and operates on Dutch guilder coins. The original notation on the machine indicates 5 plays for 1 guilder, adding a great piece of Dutch arcade history to this British-made machine.

The machine is in working condition and retains its distinctive handheld push button with flexible cable. Its compact size makes it an excellent display and playable collectible for an arcade room, mancave, bar or vintage amusement collection.
