Product information

The 1946 Wurlitzer 1015 is without question one of the most famous and instantly recognisable jukeboxes ever produced. Its iconic arched cabinet, illuminated colour columns, chrome details and visible record mechanism helped turn the 1015 into a worldwide symbol of the classic American jukebox.

This example has been restored, was imported directly from the United States and is ready to become the centrepiece of a new home or collection. It is supplied on free play and with warranty.

The legendary Wurlitzer 1015

Introduced in 1946, the Wurlitzer 1015 became one of the defining jukebox designs of the post-war era.

Its appearance became so closely associated with the word "jukebox" that its influence continued for decades. The classic design was later reinterpreted and reproduced by various jukebox manufacturers, including Rock-Ola, Seeburg, Sound Leisure and Rowe AMI.

An original 1946 Wurlitzer 1015 is therefore something very different from the many later reproduction jukeboxes. This is one of the machines that inspired them.

24 selections – 24 original 78 rpm records

The Wurlitzer 1015 is a 24-selection jukebox, holding 24 78 rpm records.

Unlike later jukeboxes designed for 45 rpm singles, the 1015 plays the larger shellac records appropriate to its period. Selecting a song, watching the mechanism operate and hearing music played from a genuine 78 rpm record is an experience that belongs completely to the 1940s.

Suitable 78 rpm records are optionally available at additional cost. Please ask about the possibilities if you would like the jukebox supplied with a collection of records.

Restored jukebox

This Wurlitzer 1015 has been restored, while retaining the distinctive appearance that made this model famous around the world.

Its lighting is an essential part of the design. The colourful illuminated columns, warm centre section, chrome details and large curved upper cabinet give the 1015 an extraordinary presence.

Switch on the lights and the atmosphere of classic American diners, bars and music venues immediately comes to life.

Directly imported from the USA

This jukebox was imported directly from the United States.

An original Wurlitzer 1015 is not merely a vintage music player; it is a tangible piece of American cultural and musical history. These machines date from a period when jukeboxes were at the heart of cafés, diners, bars and social venues.

Choosing a record was part of the experience – and with a mechanical jukebox like the 1015, it still is.

Supplied on free play

The jukebox is supplied on free play, meaning coins are not required to make a selection.

You can therefore enjoy the authentic selection process and mechanical operation of the Wurlitzer without having to use the original coin system each time.

Optional Solid State amplifier with Bluetooth

For those who would like to combine the appearance and mechanical charm of an original Wurlitzer with modern convenience, a new Solid State amplifier is optionally available at additional cost as a replacement for the original tube amplifier.

This optional upgrade can provide features including Bluetooth, remote control and app-based control.

It offers a practical alternative for owners who want modern functionality while preserving the unmistakable appearance and experience of this historic jukebox.

Home delivery with warranty

A restored jukebox of this age requires careful handling and transportation. This Wurlitzer is therefore delivered to your home with warranty within the Netherlands and selected areas of Belgium and Germany.

For destinations further abroad, shipping can be arranged at additional cost. Please contact us for availability and transport costs to your destination.
