Wurlitzer 420 “Organ Pipe” Speaker – Restored

An exceptional piece for the serious collector: the original Wurlitzer Model 420 speaker, famously known as the “Organ-Pipe Speaker.” This spectacular external jukebox speaker combines unmistakable Art Deco styling with a design that has become highly desirable among jukebox collectors worldwide.

The Model 420 earned its famous nickname from its distinctive illuminated vertical elements, resembling the pipes of a traditional organ. Combined with the red and green translucent sections, beautiful woodwork, decorative panels and dramatic symmetrical design, the result is much more than simply a speaker – it is a genuine piece of American decorative art.

This example has been beautifully restored and presents exceptionally well. Once illuminated, the extraordinary period design truly comes to life.

Among collectors of original jukebox accessories, the Wurlitzer 420 is considered one of the true “Holy Grails.” Finding one in this restored condition is a rare opportunity.

Whether displayed alongside a classic Wurlitzer jukebox or used as a spectacular standalone Art Deco piece, the 420 is guaranteed to become the centrepiece of a serious collection.
