Original Wurlitzer 510 stand for a model 51 Countertop jukebox. Very rare model, still in great condition.
The Wurlitzer Countertop 41, 51, 61, 71, and 81 model jukeboxes, produced by the Wurlitzer Company between 1937 and 1942, are iconic examples of compact, Art Deco-inspired jukeboxes designed to sit on countertops or tabletops. These models, known for their decorative plastics and chrome accents, hold and play 12 records at 78 rpm. A unique feature of these jukeboxes is their mechanism, which uses specially rolled trays, allowing the tone arm to fit seamlessly between them in the compact cabinet.
A standout feature of these models is the illuminated plastics, which create a glowing effect that draws attention and encourages play. The model 41 is the smallest, while the model 71 is the largest of the series.
Wurlitzer also offered official stands for these countertop jukeboxes, and aftermarket stands were widely available as well. Both original and reproduction stands can be found today, often priced comparably to the jukeboxes themselves.
The Wurlitzer Countertop 41, 51, 61, 71, and 81 model jukeboxes were incredibly popular in their time and remain highly collectible, with enthusiasts eagerly seeking them out.
