Wurlitzer Model 50 (1937) – A rare piece of jukebox history
The Wurlitzer Model 50 from 1937 is one of the earliest milestones in jukebox history. Widely regarded as the precursor to later countertop jukeboxes, this model represents a key moment in the evolution of automated music machines.
Only around 850 units were ever produced, making it an extremely rare and highly desirable collector’s piece.
This particular example has been fully restored and remains in beautiful condition, retaining its distinctive 1930s character. The wooden cabinet, subtle lighting and art deco styling make it a true historical centerpiece.
